Experiential AI programmes for senior leaders. Bring a real problem, solve it with AI as a partner in a place where innovation runs at speed, and come back with a change that holds up.
Four old beliefs about how leaders learn no longer hold
New AI-era academies and paid apprenticeships are making the same bet: capability is built on real problems, not in a classroom first. Our programmes are designed around that shift.
Learn first, then work
Learn inside real work
Training leaves the classroom. Participants work on a live problem from day one, with a senior reviewing.
Certificates prove ability
Real work proves ability
We look at how people frame the problem and check the AI, not only at what they hand in.
The course decides what to learn
The problem decides what to learn
Start from a live problem and pull in the frameworks it needs, when it needs them.
AI is a topic
AI is a partner on hard problems
Stop counting prompts and licences. Count decisions that held up, including the times people overruled the AI.
A residential for schools. An academy for leadership teams.
Venture Residential
Four days in Vietnam or Warsaw for EMBA, MBA and executive programmes.
Teams bring a real problem, test it with customers, build a prototype with AI, pitch it to investors and executives, and leave with a sponsor-backed 30/60/90-day plan.
- A masterclass two weeks before; customers lined up per team
- Briefed visits to companies building at speed
- An AI venture toolkit each participant keeps
- Check-ins at weeks 2 and 4; your school keeps the academic frame
AI Transformation Academy
Six to eight weeks for a company's leadership team.
Each team brings a live AI project from its own workflow and leaves with a board-ready transformation plan: the work redesigned, decisions reassigned, roles changed and the return checked by Finance.
- A two-day residency in Vietnam or Warsaw
- Weekly virtual reviews and team coaching on the live project
- One-to-one coaching before the final pitch
- A final pitch to senior sponsors: funded, parked or stopped
Four days. Five phases. Every session ends in something they built.
See
Briefed visits to real operating environments. Each one ends in three evidence points and one implication.
Output Idea and evidence
Frame
The problem reframed and the model locked, with founders in the room.
Output A clear proposition
Build
Live customer calls, AI-assisted build sprints and a working prototype.
Output Proof and prototype
Pitch
Live to investors and executives, judged on framing, evidence and decisions.
Output Scored feedback
Deploy
The venture turned into accountable action back home.
Output Sponsor and plan
What every Civico programme holds to
Learning lives inside the work
Participants bring a real workflow, project or venture idea. Nobody works on a case study.
The problem decides what to learn
Frameworks are pulled in when the problem needs them, not delivered in advance.
AI is a partner
Used in the room on their own problem in every build session, never taught as a topic.
Judge decisions, not usage
We assess the framing, the evidence and the decisions that held up.
Context at speed
Run where change is fastest: Vietnam for Asian cohorts, Warsaw for European ones.
No session without an output
Every session ends in an artefact, a decision or a plan.
Delivered in Hanoi. Asked back for Ho Chi Minh City.
Hanoi residential, 15–19 July 2026: about 40 executives, four venture teams. Sasin School of Management re-commissioned the format for January 2027. Participant feedback, N=20.
Bring us a cohort or a problem
Schools: we walk you through the Hanoi residential and map the four days onto your learning outcomes. Companies: we scope one leadership team and one live AI project for a first cohort.
- A 45-minute call, no preparation needed
- A tailored outline after the call
- Your brief stays confidential
